That Council receive and approve recommendation 2023-006 dated November 6th, 2023 from the Community Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Advisory Committee with respect to amending the Township’s Strategic Plan to include an objective to enhance the representation of First Nations, Inuit and Métis cultures and knowledge. MOTION APPROVED AS AMENDED k. Teens Advisory Committee - Recommendation 2023-001 (September 14, 2023) - Funding Request for the 2024 Annual Teen Forum Update Whereas Council at its Regular Council Meeting of October 10, 2023, received recommendation 2023-001 dated September 14th, 2023 from the Teens Advisory Committee with respect to funding for the implementation of an annual forum for Teens in the Township of Russell; and Whereas Council at its 2024 Budget Session further discussed the request for the funding of the 2024 annual teen forum; Be it resolved that the Township of Russell Council allocate $2,500 for the 2024 Annual Teen Forum, to take place in May with the participation of 80-100 local teens.
