Regular Council Meeting

That Council approve the following department’s recommendation for community grants donation in 2015 to the following group: 1. To approve an in-kind grant in the amount of $206 to l’École élémentaire catholique Ste-Thérèse d’Avila de Marionville to cover the costs of the rental of the Marionville Community Centre for their graduation on June 16th, 2015. 2. To approve an in-kind grant in the amount of $615 to Willow Sound Artist Development to cover the costs of the ice slab rental of the Russell Arena on June 19th to film their fundraising video. According to the Community Grants and Contributions Guidelines, this request meets our requirements for funding. 3. To decline an ad-hoc grant increase in the amount of $3,000 to the Russell Agricultural Society for the Russell Fair. They have been pre-approved for $5,000 but are requesting $8,000.
